Wray Reunion
We traveled to Utah over the fourth of July weekend to spend some time with my family for a fairy tale themed weekend. I mean that literally. The theme for the weekend was “Once Upon a Time and Happily Ever After.”
- We put on our annual lip-sync/talent show
- Went for a treasure hunt
- Preformed some modern day fairytales
- Through our traditionally torturous wedding shower for our latest engaged cousin. Just imagine lots of bows and lots of kissing. Something along the lines of this…
This was the only picture that I could find from Aaron and I’s shower almost 4 years ago.
There were plenty of other fun activities. With all of the fun events, the only picture that I came away with was this one. I was too busy enjoying myself that I forgot to get out my camera. I just happened to come across this picture that my mom happened to take with my camera.
Here are 29 of the 32 grandchildren. 4 of the 6 cousin in-laws. 4 of the 5 great grandchildren.
This is an annual reunion, usually held over the 4th of July weekend. It had been a few years since we had been able to attend. I was so glad that we made it this year. I believe the festivities went from Thursday to Monday. We were only able to be there from Saturday to Monday. The quick trip was worth it. I was reminded of how lucky I am to be a part of such a wonderful family. Even though it had been a few years, we walked in to open loving arms and picked up right where we left off like no time had passed.
Wray family, I miss you all already. Come to Denver anytime. We would love for you to come play with us.

4th of July
Besides a golf game that Aaron was able to play the morning of the 4th, we spent most of our day traveling back from Utah. We did make it back to Denver just in time to see some fireworks. Ethan was exhausted from his weekend with cousins, plus it was way beyond his bedtime before the fireworks started. And this kid rarely does well after his bedtime, does any kid? But the second the fireworks started, there was silence. Ethan loved every second of it! And so did we.
