Bubble Bath in the Kitchen
Did you ever wonder what would happen if you put your cleaning brush, with all of the soap still inside, into the dishwasher?

Engagement Flashbacks
We went on another honeymoon... so why not get a second set of engagement photos??? That's how this would appear and that is definitely what it felt like. My sweet mother has a collage of pictures of all the kids in the living room. It was time to update since she newly acquired another son-in-law. Here are some of the photos. I thought they were pretty cool so I figured I would share a few of them with you! I guess it's never too early to start taking family photos.

Am I Still in College?
The other night Aaron and I decided that we needed root beer floats at about 10:30 pm. We would never have a shortage of ice cream in our home but unfortunately we were out of root beer. We headed over to the local King Soopers, and to our surprise there was a shopping cart full of day old donuts for half off! What a deal! We walked around the store for about 5 minutes debating whether this delicious snack was something that we truly needed. This inevitably led to us buying more things that we did not need. We finally came to the conclusion that these donuts were a must have!
We hurried home for a delicious treat of donuts and root beer. And of course the donuts were nasty! Aaron even tried to save some for the next morning, thinking that the donuts might treat us better now that they had been given a home. But sadly no, they were just as awful as the night before. I have no idea what we were thinking! |

Luna de Miel Numero Dos
A second honeymoon... why not? I feel truly blessed to have gone on such a wonderful vacation so soon after our last. It is so nice to get away with my adorable husband. This vacation was SO nice. We really didn't do much at all except lay by the pool or go to the beach.
Here was a typical day for us...
Get up and eat Zucharitas aka Frosted Flakes! While in Costa Rica I discovered two things. One, that I love rice and beans and two, that I love Choco Zucharitas. Well we couldn't find the chocolate kind in Puerto Vallarta but just the regular sugared up version would do. I'm really not a sugar cereal kind of girl. I'm strictly a raisin bran and honey bunches of oats fan and sometimes I'll spring for the Cinnamon life. That's why this was such a treat!
Next we would go lay in the lazy river! This was my favorite part of the trip!
Afterwards, we would go lay by the pool or go for a swim. We loved our pina colodas!
We were always up for some bingo or PING-PONG!
Then we would grab some lunch by the beach.
Then maybe lay at the beach for a while. And of course there was always a game of either sequence or gin being played.
Or maybe we would head out to some waterfalls to do some rappelling.
Then at night we would either head down town(and usually we opted for the public bus because it was the cheaper transportation. But it was definitely cheaper... while sitting in a bus with a hole in the bottom we drove over a puddle of water and I got splashed in the face!)
or hang out on the beach to watch the sunset. And there were some beautiful sunsets!
And of course we couldn't go to bed at night without watching at least two episodes of Numb3rs! This is currently our favorite show!
It was a wonderful vacation and I have never had so much fun in Mexico! I think this should become a yearly tradition and everyone is invited!!!
Check out some more of our photos! They are awesome!

Doubles Anyone?
Aaron and I love to play tennis. We try to get in at least an hour every night. Saturdays are our favorite because its double the fun.
First, we load up the basket...
Next, we ride our bikes to Congress Park... (And check out my fun new toy. After spending an entire Saturday bike shopping, Aaron and I decided that this was the bike for us. The K2 Big Easy... it is like floating on air!)
Then, we play tennis for an hour or so...
And afterwards we have a picnic! (Yesterdays picnic was a little sad because of the lack of food in our house due to the recent vacation. It consisted of 2 ham and cheese sandwiches, 2 smores granola bars, 3 rice cakes, 6 oreos and 1 orange.)
If anyone is interested in playing doubles, just let us know! Don't worry we really aren't that good ;)

Call me Mrs. Hunt...
In my first year of teaching I was at a public school and they called me Ms. Wray. Then, in my second year of teaching I was at a private school and they called me Ms. Angela. Now in my third year of teaching I will be at a charter school and the students will call me Mrs. Hunt. Yes, it is official... I have a new job! After two days of interviewing with principals and other teachers, I have accepted a position teaching 6th grade at Platte River Academy. It is a charter school out in Highlands Ranch, CO. It means that my commute will be a little longer but that will just give me time to listen to more audio books(I haven't been a radio fan in a while.) Since it is a charter school that means that it is still part of a school district, it just gets to play by different rules. It is a great school, with a rigorous academic philosophy that I am a big supporter of, and the students even have to wear uniforms. The best part about it all is that the majority of my teaching will be in social studies... which is my favorite! I couldn't be more excited!

Sunday Waffles
Today is a very bittersweet day. I am in beautiful Mexico with my wonderful husband but... today I am giving my beloved waffle iron a break. This will be the first Sunday in a while that I will have to go without my waffles. Growing up we always had waffles every Saturday morning. Now it has become a tradition in our home that on Sundays for either breakfast or lunch we eat yummy waffles with strawberries! Mostly this is due to a sweet waffle iron that we received for our wedding. (On a side note... For anyone out there that is considering marriage I would highly recommend it for numerous reasons... but one to really consider is that you get sweet presents just for falling in love. Not to make light of marriage or to say that anyone should get married just for the presents but it is something to consider!) Well back to my waffles... My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I should have just brought the waffle iron with me ;)

Chalk Art
On Aaron and I's third date we went to the chalk art festival held at Larimer Square in downtown Denver. Well this past weekend the festival was back in town and we just had to go back! I think it may become a tradition as long as we live in Denver. Our favorite part of the festival is when we sneak into the kids corner and add our own design. We have considered entering the festival but as you can see below we may need to get in a little more practice time first :)
